Another beautiful fall day. We went to a craft fair in Easton and then drove to Oxford. We had never been to Oxford – what a nice little town. While we were taking a picture of the little yellow house, one of the owners came out – she told us that when they bought the house it had been partially destroyed by fire. They did a lot of work on it and it was voted the best exterior rehab by This Old House
The table and chairs on the porch of the Robert Morris Inn. James Michener outlined the novel Chesapeake while staying there. We took a short ferry ride across the Tred Avon River to Bellevue
When we got home we got a phone call and found out that we had won the door prize at the craft festival – not sure what the door prize – they said a ceramic plate. So will have to wait until we go back to Easton next weekend to find out. So it was a great weekend.
