There are still some leaves on the trees in Dorset
We drove to Pawlet to get a sandwich for supper. Lots of hay bales along the way. Tried to take a picture from the car since there was no place to pull off

Left Stowe and headed to Dorset but stopped at King Arthur Flour. wow the place was the busiest we have ever seen it. There was even a tour bus there
Stopped at the forest Union Store for a sandwich and pie for supper lots of goodies
The Squire House has a small red barn and I always take a photo while we are here
Last day in Stowe so we didn’t do much since we have a drive ahead of us tomorrow

Stopped in downtown Stowe. Not as many people as the past few days but still a lot of people enjoying the beautiful fall day

Another beautiful fall day. I explored some of the trails around the Inn
We managed to find a parking spot in downtown today. There were still a lot of people
Then we walked on a different part of the Rec Trail there are still some leaves on the trees but it was windy this afternoon so a lot of leaves were falling
Another beautiful day in Stowe. We headed out to try and find the red barn we could not find last year. Success

Then we stopped and walked on part of the path. What a difference a day makes. A lot of the leaves have fallen since yesterday
Headed back to Stowe. Downtown was bumper to bumper traffic and lots of people. Could not find a parking spot. Will have to try again in middle of week.
Drove thru Smugglers Notch
Last morning in Saratoga. We decided to head to Williston to check out the L L Bean store. Beautiful store and I found some snow sneakers. I have never heard of snow sneakers. Then we headed for Stowe. The GPS took us on all these country roads. The scenery was beautiful even though it was a little past peak
Was happy to see there were still leaves on the trees in Stowe. Some pictures from the Inn
Rainy morning but it cleared up in the afternoon. Went to downtown Saratoga to walk and get some exercise and to stop at yarn store and bookstore
Then we headed back to the park. Some of the leaves have come down but still found some things to take photos of. Even found some red leaves
A broken heart?
A beautiful fall day. It was a chilly 53 degrees this morning. We had to put on our heavy coats
We headed to Saratoga State Park The entrance looks looks beautiful
Park is beautiful. There are lots of trails and picnic areas
Then we headed to Hadley Bridge

Then we rode along side of Lake Sacandaga on our way to Lake George. View of Lake George from one of the pull offs. We drove to the top but it was really crowded with no place to park
Then we stopped at Lake Moreau State Park. Water was a lot lower than we were last there
First day of vacation. We made it to New York. Traffic wasn’t too bad.
Made it to Saratoga. The hotel now has free dinner on Wednesday nights. Great idea. They had to install gates to parking area since they were getting overflow parking from SPAC and the brewery next door
Walked around the parking lot to get some exercise and spotted this tree. I think it’s same tree I took a picture of years ago
