Rainy day today so we didn’t do a lot. We went to a couple of wineries and the aquarium. Spotted this submarine in downtown Mystic. Off to Freeport, Maine tomorrow. We will only be there for a day so hope it doesn’t rain all day so we can get some scenery shots

Since we have never been to Rhode Island, we decided to head to Watch Hill. It was only about 20 miles away. Now we have been to all the states in the Northeast

The Flying Horse Carousel is a historical carousel in Watch Hill. It is one of two in the state designated as National Historic Landmarks. It was closed for the season but what parts we could see are beautiful.

The Ocean House is one of only eight Forbes triple five star hotels in the world. It is just down the street from Taylor Swift’s mansion. We went on line to see what rooms where available and found three suites that ranged in cost from $2600 to $2900 per night. WOW – wonder how much a suite is during the peak summer season.
