May 9 – 14, 2016

We left home on Saturday, May 9th and flew to Bozeman, Montana. Spent Saturday afternoon, Sunday and Monday checking out some of the sites around Bozeman including Ted Turner’s Flying D Ranch.  Monday night we met up with Aaron Baggenstos and our tour group.  We left Bozeman early Tuesday morning for our drive to Gardiner – the northern entrance of Yellowstone.  We had to drive through a snow storm part of the way but that made for some great photos.

We saw lots of wildlife including bison, coyotes, wolves, bears including a grizzly, black bears and grown bears, elk, big horn sheep, pronghorns, owls, pika, marmots, and lots of different kinds of birds.

If you haven’t been to Yellowstone, you should put it at the top of your list of places to visit.    and if you want to go on a photo tour – Aaron’s photo tours is the best.  Aaron is a great instructor whether you are a beginner or advanced photographer  This was our second tour and we keep learning new techniques on every trip.  This time we learned about nighttime photography, and how to do panorama shots

This was our second trip and we still have not seen all of the park and the scenery changes on a daily basis.

Many thanks to Aaron and Mike for a great trip

My Big Horn Sheep – get out of our way – it’s supper time.
