Some of the scouts had halloween decorations at their station. thought this one was really original since the park is right on the bay and you can launch a kayak from the park

There was a big scouting event at Downs Park. There were lots of different stations throughout the park. Here they are learning all the different kind of knots. It was great to see so many people at the park

Went out to dinner tonight and since we were close to Downs Park decided to head to the park. The ospreys were not in their next but spotted this one in a tree

We headed to Downs Park for a quick visit. Headed to the turtle pond. The pond was covered in algae and scum but when we looked to the left we noticed the heron. We managed to get a couple of shots before it went into the woods.
