We have been in this strange weather pattern for over a week. Seems like we have thunderstorms and rain every day. Sometimes twice a day like today. We managed to get the lawn mowed in between storms today. We are going to Vermont for a long weekend. Hopefully the weather will be better later in the week.

I grew up in New York State and have remained a Yankees fan even though I have lived in Maryland for years. We took our son to a Yankees/Orioles baseball game tonight as an early birthday present. It was an adventure getting to the game. It took 90 minutes instead of 35 – there were accidents everywhere we turned. Got to see parts of Anne Arundel County we had never seen before. The rain held off and we had a nice night even though the Yankees lost

Decided to head to the marina to see if I could get any sunset pictures. The colors in the sky were just amazing. It was so nice to sit on the pier and relax. Someone was playing Kenny Chesney tunes Took lots of pictures and it was hard to decide which ones to post

Went out to lunch at the Inner Harbor with friends today. Have not been inside the Light Street pavilion since they remodeled it. Spotted this magnet display in one of the stores. Like all the colors and different shapes. It’s a little blurry but still like it. When we go on vacation i usually get a magnet and put it on the fridge. That way every time I go by the fridge I see reminders of past vacations.

Working on my depth of field again. These lilies were by the marina. While I was taking photos a neighbor walked by and told me that a gal who works at the marina is responsible for all the beautiful flowers by the marina She does an amazing job. It is so nice to see all those flowers on the road to the marina.

Hot and humid day today and I had a dentist appointment this afternoon so decided to take it easy when I got home. Took this picture Monday night near the marina. The tree was just amazing. Reminded me of when someone see’s something scary and the hair on top of their head stands up. Does anyone know what kind of tree it is
