We decided to head to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge. The visitor center has reopened and we discovered there is a second floor that has a great display and a great view. We were lucky and saw a lot of heron, egrets, and ibex. We were surprised to see how low the water was and that the erosion sticks were not surrounded by water.
The volunteer at the Visitor Center told us about the ibex and where we could find them. This was the first time we saw them and were surprised at the different colors
