On our evening walk we decided to walk out to the pier at the Kent Manor Inn and was surprised to see this heron checking out the scenery.

There is an osprey next right by the observation building by the pond at Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. Once the osprey spotted us he took off and keep circling hoping we would leave – but we kept waiting to get a good photo.
