It finally snowed a little so decided to venture out and drove by the Craneville Swamp area.

It is so great to be back in the mountains.  Would you believe it’s New Years Day and there is no snow!  We are sitting outside by the fire pit at our favorite Bed and Breakfast – The Lakepointe Inn.  We had seen another photographer’s photos of fire so while we decided to give it a try.
