Can this really be February?  We had to run an errand nearby so decided to stop at National Harbor to see the new ferris wheel.  It was 64 degrees and a nice day to be outside walking around.  The Ferris Wheel soars about 175 feet above the Potomac River  It has 42 closed, climate controlled gondolas each seating up to eight people.  We did not go on the Ferris Wheel but you are supposed to be able to see the White House, Capitol, National Mall, Arlington Cemetery  and Alexandria Virginia.
