We always try to visit Swallow Falls when we are at the lake.  This was taken at Tolliver Falls  – can’t believe in all the times we have visited the Park that we never stopped to see these falls.  Will definitely stop back next time we go.

A view of the Blackwater River in Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge along one of favorite hiking trails.  We haven’t hiked this trail in a long time – was surprised to find that the old barn and another old building were both gone.

Sunset at Deep Creek State Park .  We decided to go for a walk at the Park to stretch our legs after the long ride and timed it just as the sun was going down.  It is so wonderful to be back in the mountains!

Found this beautiful purple iris on our evening walk.  I didn’t think we would get a good photo tonight and was almost home when i spotted this.

Azaleas in our side yard – it’s only April 1st and they are blooming already!.  The red ones are in full bloom while the white ones are just bus.
