While we were at the overlook, we noticed about six herons. They were quite a distance away and even though we put the big lens on the camera we were not sure how the pictures would turn out.

Our local liquor store has had Friday night wine tastings for a number of years. They recently installed a wine station that holds 16 different wines. So now you don’t have to wait til Friday – you can sample a taste, half or full glass for a small fee. Tonight was the first time I noticed all the wine crates on top of the wine station. and since I needed a photo for today …….

Walked around Federal Hill. There were a lot of tulips around one of the monuments Most of the tulips were past peak but on one side the tulips still looked pretty – the shady side. Love the color variety.

Got up a little earlier than usual today so I had some extra time and decided to stop at Federal Hill before work. Wanted to see if I could find something besides flowers for my photo of the day Liked the different colors of the bush and as I was trying to focus, I realized that my shadow was in the picture and decided to see what it would look like. Another rainy day but April showers are supposed to bring May flowers. After supper, went out in the yard to see what I could find. Was surprised that my white azaleas are in full bloom. Amazing what you can find in your yard.
