On our way back to the Wildflower Inn tonight, we saw a bunch of people and cars alongside the road.  Has to be an animal in the woods.  So of course we had to stop.  The bear watch was on.  There were 2 or 3 bears in the woods.  The bears like huckleberries and we could see the huckleberry bushes move but could only get a glimpse of the bears from time to time.  Two rangers showed up for crowd and traffic control.  Here is a picture of a small part of the crowd waiting for the bears to move so we could get a photo.

Another beautiful day in the Tetons.  The aspens are just beautiful in the Tetons. When we stopped at the Old Faithful Inn a few days ago, we saw a beautiful picture of some aspens. However, the smallest size – 10 x 14 – was around $500. So we decided to take some photos and see if we could come up with anything close. We really like how this one turned out. We would rather spend the $500 on more camera gear. That’s what a couple of crazy amateur photographers would do

One of the old farm buildings along Mormon Row.  The farmland was homesteaded by the Mormon settlers in the early 1900’s.  It was later purchased by Rockefeller’s Snake River Land Company and transferred to the Park Service.

We decided to go on an organized tour of the Tetons.  If you are ever in Jackson Hole and have the time take an all day tour with Eco Tours.  Our guide Jamie was a former ranger and was a great tour guide.  This is the first picture I have posted of us but thought it turned out good and its proof we made it to the Tetons
