It was 57 degrees out – day off of work and blue skies so time for a road trip. Jug Bay is closed on Mondays so we decided to go to the Glendening Preserve which is nearby.

Decided to head to the outlets so Michael could use his Eddie Bauer gift card. Once we got on Kent Island, we drove around looking for a place to see the bay. Can you imagine living this close to the bay. WOW

Today is my husband’s birthday so I asked him where he wanted to go to dinner. He checked Trip Advisor and Yelp and decided on The Chop House in Annapolis. What a great choice. The menu is on a tablet – its divided into categories and then when you see a selection you just tap it and up comes a picture and a description – WOW what a great idea. Our son Marc was with us and we all had filet mignon – mouth watering – delicious and then for dessert Michael and I split Banana Fosters bread pudding and Marc had a smores chocolate dessert.

My sister sent me a message earlier this week that she found something that reminded her of us and that she mailed it to us. What a nice surprise when I opened it. It’s a birdhouse.
