We are headed down the trail and Michael turns and says shhh and let me have your camera. (my camera had a bigger zoom lens on it) We switch cameras and walk very quietly and slowly so we don’t scare the bird and then we realize it’s fake. Too funny – so we had to take a picture

Found a new trail along the river by Lock #5. This bridge is just for bikers and walkers and goes across the Hudson River.

We decided to head over to Schuylerville, New York to the canal locks to see if we could get any goof photos. We timed it just right and got to see two sailboats go thru the lock system

While we were at Lock #5, we started talking to a couple and they mentioned that they had just come from seeing a waterfalls on the Battenkill. They said it was really pretty with the colors of the leaves. We asked for directions and headed there. Well when we reached the end of Windy Hill Road and didn’t find a waterfalls – we reached for our cell phone and googled waterfalls on the Battenkill. We finally found the parking lot for the falls. The sign for the falls is back in the woods – no wonder we didn’t see it the first time.
