I was sitting in the sunroom reading and looked out the window and noticed the heron outside so grabbed the camera.  This is the best shot.  He was looking for a late lunch.  I did get a shot of him with a fish in his mouth but the stake and filament lines were in the way.

Many thanks to the Kent Manor Inn for planting a sunflower field again. Took lots of photos and it was hard to decide which ones I liked the best – I narrowed it down to these

The smoke from the fires out west have reached Maryland so the sky is hazy
