We did a lot of weeding in the front yard and then decided to head to Annapolis for First Sunday.  As we were driving thru the Naval Academy I spotted this blue heron.  Michael did a quick u-turn and we parked the truck and were surprised to see that it was still there.  Michael took a bunch of pictures before he took off

The Hermione replicates the original wartime frigate that ferried the Marquis de Lafayette to America in 1780.  The French spent 17 years and $28 million replicating the Hermione down to the last detail.  Today it is sitting just outside Annapolis Harbor and we were lucky enough to get this shot.

When we went over to Annapolis City Dock and we were lucky enough to see the Lynx.  The Lynx is a square topsail schooner based in California.  The Lynx is an interpretation of an American letter of marque vessel of the same name from 1812.  It was hard to get a good shot since there were so many people there
