A beautiful fall day with temperatures in low 70’s. Decided to go to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge

Great place to sit and watch the wildlife

Thought this piece of wood had an interesting shape to it. I thought it looked like two people holding something between them.

We decided to head to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge. The visitor center has reopened and we discovered there is a second floor that has a great display and a great view. We were lucky and saw a lot of heron, egrets, and ibex. We were surprised to see how low the water was and that the erosion sticks were not surrounded by water.
