Chilly Monday afternoon on the Bay

Thursday afternoon on the bay. Three large ships anchored

View from my back yard
Union station in Washington DC. Waiting for Michael’s brother to drive

Second bay bridge walk. This year was colder and windy. The wind was 16 mph but was behind me So I have two pieces of the medal and three more to go. There were 16,000 runners from 46 states and seven countries. Event generated millions of dollars for surrounding areas and tens of thousands for charity

Discovered a new place today. Queen Anne marina on southern part of Kent island. There were several charter boats at the marina. Love all the different colors of the fishing lures

We saw 11 ships anchored on the bay
I have been wanting to do the Bay Bridge Walk for years and finally got the chance. There were over 40 people from our community who joined in the walk. We left our clubhouse at 6:30 so we could be at the starting line one hour before our starting time of 8:15. The total walk to the finish line was over 6 miles and we did it in less than 2 hours. That’s great considering I stopped several times to take pictures. We even had our own tent since there we over 40 people. It took us a while to find our tent but gave us time to check our the activities Then we walked home – which was another 2 miles
