Last morning at Deep Creek. no one ice fishing this morning.
It’s warmed up but there’s still snow in some places

Not much snow left at home
Woke up to no heat and no hot water and fireplace in room not working The Inn ran out of propane during the night. After breakfast we sat as close as possible to wood burning fireplace in common area Then we headed to schoolhouse earth for some sauces and jelly
As we were getting in truck we noticed several deer by driveway I managed to get this shot
Then off to Deep Creek State Park
Stopped for some coffee and chai and got back to inn around 3. Propane delivered and waiting on plumber to light all the pilot lights. we are sitting in front of fireplace reading and waiting for happy hour at 4.

Headed home today
A rainy day at the lake We ventured out after lunch. Stopped at Schoolhouse Earth, and the book store in Oakland and the top of Wisp. Schoolhouse Earth is all decorated for fall
It finally stopped raining this afternoon so decided to check out a new trail in Loch Lynn. It’s a short trail but lots of wildflowers. There is a boardwalk across a marshy area
The rain held off and we could sit outside after dinner
Gee which rocking chair should I pick for best view of the lake? But wait it’s still raining and it’s only 64 degrees. Guess I better get a blanket
Decided to head to Deep Creek for a few days. Was hoping for snow but we only had a dusting last night. But the temperatures dropped from the 40’s to the 20’s. Brrr
