Naval Academy 9/11 Tribute
The Naval Academy midshipman placed 2,977 flags along Stripling Walk on the Yard in honor of the victims of the 9/11 attack. This photo only shows a few of the flags
Reynolds Tavern in the oldest tavern in Annapolis and one of the oldest in the United States. The building was restored to reflect the working nature of the tavern and the elegance of the 18th century

The Annapolis National Cemetery is one of 14 national cemeteries that date from the Civil War. It contains nearly 3,000 graves spread over four acres.

Decided to head to Annapolis for the First Sunday street festival. In year’s past there have been several photographers showing their work and we always stop to look at their photos – was disappointed that there was only one vendor there and it was a small display. Then the wind picked up and the temperature dropped about 12 degrees. We checked AccuWeather and it said it was going to start raining shortly so decided to leave. We stopped at the Naval Academy to see if anything caught our eye. It’s 3 hours later and it never did rain.
