Beautiful day again today so we headed to Swallow Falls State Park.  A lot of other people had the same idea  – the parking lot was full.  We walked the trail and were surprised at the number of downed trees – result of Hurricane Sandy.  There was a note saying that it took over 3000 man hours to clear the trees.  Some of the trees were over 300 years old.  This is a picture of Muddy Creek Falls.  A bit of history – In the summer of 1921, calling themselves the vagabonds, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone camped at Muddy Creek Falls.^[
