Last day of STAIR each of the kids read a short story and then got a graduation certificate. Parents and family were invited. So proud of my little girl. She did a great job

The kids in STAIR all received a bag of goodies from the Curious Kids Project. There are almost 200 kids in STAIR this year.

Very windy day. The wind right now is 20 mph. I just came across the bridge and there were wind restrictions since gusts were over 40 mph. There were lots of whitecaps on the water not sure where the swan decoys are. They must be up on the bank again
Everyone in the STAIR program got $20 to spend on books at the book fair. What a lot of fun. Stitch and Frozen were the most popular

I volunteer for a wonderful group STAIR – start the adventure in reading – and tutor an 8 year old girl for reading
At the end of every class the kids play a game. Today it was who, what or where. The girls had a great time

I volunteer Thursday afternoons for the Stair Program in Annapolis. STAIR (Start the Adventure in Reading) is a 12 year old literacy tutoring program in Annapolis. Stair tutors work with second graders twice a week after school for one hour to improve their reading fluency and comprehension. This is my second year volunteering and it’s a wonderful program.
