Lin and Michael’s Photos 2013
It’s been very cold here this week. In fact, it’s the coldest it’s been in two years. So since its Saturday and I have more time I decided to head to the marina and one of the other beaches in the neighborhood to see if I could find any good ice pictures. It’s 32 degrees today so thought this might be my last chance. Took a bunch of pictures. When I got home and uploaded this one, my imagination got the best of me and I thought that looks like a head and part of a body. So I sent the picture to my sister and asked her what she thought of the picture and guess we are on the same wave length because she came back with head and part of a body. When Michael came downstairs I asked him – but he didn’t see it so I had to tell him. Does this mean I read too many murder mysteries and watch too many crime shows or just have a wild imagination?

We got a little more snow today. Weather forecasters were predicting snow to start in the afternoon so the schools closed school two hours early. Amazing – closing school before it starts to snow. Got home and walked around the backyard trying to find something that caught my eye. Could not decide between these two

Lin and Michael’s Photos
When I looked out the window this morning was surprised to see that it had snowed. We only got about 1 1/2 inches – was wishing for more – but something is better than nothing. Took some quick photos of our backyard before I headed off to work. We are supposed to get some more tomorrow night into Saturday morning – that would be great because I would have lots of time to take photos Saturday morning.

No good photo ops today so since I keep wishing for snow decided to use one of the pictures I took when we were in the mountains last month. This is in the Lakepointe Inn’s side yard. Have often thought about trying snow shoeing but since I am such a klutz I probably would not get very far.

Another picture from last weekend. This is a partial view of the Lakepointe Inn at Deep Creek. We usually stay in the room on the second floor on the left. I tried numerous times last weekend to capture a close up of a snow flake but no success. However, I did get a picture of it snowing.

These rain bells are on the porch of our favorite Bed and Breakfast – the Lakepointe Inn in Deep Creek. When we were there last April I took pictures of the rain and the bells and thought I should take a picture of the snow on the bells.

Another great day in the mountains. Went outside after another great breakfast – one more day and then it’s back to cereal. Took a lot of pictures and it was hard to decide. Liked the colors in this one. All of the docks have to be out of the water by December 1st. These docks are across the lake from the bed and breakfast we are staying
It doesn’t seem possible that I started this blog a year ago – had a lot of fun doing it – learned a lot and went to a lot of different places that we probably would not have gone to. I find myself looking at the world around me in a whole new way.
