A beautiful January day in Maryland The rain has stopped, the sun came out and its 71 degrees. Went for a walk around the community and was lucky enough to spot this work boat named “Call Girl” headed into shore. Someone must need a dock repaired or replaced. Warm weather won’t last – Saturday its going to be in low 30’s with possibility of ice.

Took a quick trip to Annapolis to see if we could find some good photo ops. Thought there might be some ice on the Severn River but it warmed up a bit – so no ice but it was still windy and cold. The Naval Academy is in the distance.

Forecast was for 3-5 inches of snow but we only got about a couple of inches. The pond by the marina looks pretty with the snow and the ice.
Hope we get some more snow this winter. I could not enjoy last winter since I was laid up with a broken ankle

Decided to take the Christmas tree down today but took one more picture. My father used to work for a Christmas tree factory and this is one of the ornaments he gave me.

A lot of the ornaments our Christmas tree tell a story. My husband’s grandfather worked for Mobile Oil for many years and the Flying Horse was their trademark. This ornament is over 60 years old.
A beautiful day today. Blue skies and temperatures in the low 50’s. Decided to go to the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis. Spotted these sail boats under tow on the Severn. Not sure why they were all under tow.
