Lin and Michael’s Photos 2012

Took this photo on the way to work this morning.  It amazes me how different and beautiful each sunrise is.  I can never be sure until I get to South Baltimore whether the sun will be in a good location for a photo or not.  Came across this verse today – With each sunrise, we start anew.  How beautiful and how true.

The leaves seem to get more beautiful every day.  The reds are my favorites.   Took this shot on our evening walk.  Before too long it will be dark and we won’t be able to walk in the evenings.  Will really miss that.  Heard that Tropical Storm Sandy might be headed this way – if that’s the case I better take as many fall photos as I can.

Spotted this when we were in Easton on Sunday but could not get a good shot since there were a lot of people around.  Michael went back to Easton today to pick up the door prize that we won and he took this picture so figured it was meant to be and decided to use this for one of the photos today.

Another beautiful fall day. We went to a craft fair in Easton and then drove to Oxford. We had never been to Oxford – what a nice little town. While we were taking a picture of the little yellow house, one of the owners came out – she told us that when they bought the house it had been partially destroyed by fire. They did a lot of work on it and it was voted the best exterior rehab by This Old House

The table and chairs on the porch of the Robert Morris Inn.  James Michener outlined the novel Chesapeake while staying there.   We took a short ferry ride across the Tred Avon River to Bellevue

When we got home we got a phone call and found out that we had won the door prize at the craft festival – not sure what the door prize – they said a ceramic plate.  So will have to wait until we go back to Easton next weekend to find out.  So it was a great weekend.
