Rain rain go away – we want snow!!! So I decided to post some of our Dept 56 Snow Village houses. The church on the far right was my mother in laws and the first piece of our collection. Since I am an avid reader – had to have a library – that’s the building in the middle. The building on the far left is a toy store – I always think of little kids and toys at Christmas. My son gave us the house next to the Church. We have several more pieces and each one has a story.

Office Christmas Party today. Beautiful location on the Inner Harbor, The Domino Sugar sign is a landmark in the Inner Harbor. Not the best shot but I like the reflections in the water.

How can this be the last day of November already. Went to Washington DC today to see the Joffrey Ballet version of the Nutcracker. We have seen the Nutcracker several times before but The Joffrey Ballet is a much more lavish production. I especially loved Scene 3 where Clara and the Nutcracker Prince are in the Land of the Snow. My last official day of working in Baltimore, My co-workers surprised me with a cake, a cupcake charm and a basket full of cooking supplies. Since I love to bake – the girts were perfect. Starting Monday, I will be working in our Annapolis office and it will only be a 10 minute commute. Wow – I can sleep late and have more time for reading, and taking photos.

What a beautiful day. We went for a walk around the Inner Harbor lunchtime and snapped this photo with my IPhone. It’s my birthday – had lots of good wishes, some presents and my husband picked up dinner plus our son stopped over. We are going out to dinner with our son on Friday night to celebrate.

After the heron flew away, I looked around to see if there was anything else that caught my eye. Took a couple of pictures and was surprised how they turned out. This one really looks even better enlarged.
