It was 28 degrees this morning and the pond has a thin sheet of ice. Snow is in the forecast – could be anything from zero to 6 inches. Will just have to wait and see. I hope that at least the ground is covered.
The Durango to Silverton, Colorado train line was built in 1895 to carry gold and passengers. Today it offers a 3 /12 to 4 hour ride with a scenic view of the San Juan Mountains and the Animas River.
It finally stopped raining. We went out to dinner and then rode around exploring and ended up at the Kent Point Marina and got some great shots. Will have to go back there again
