Waited outside for over an hour for the parade to start. The Ravens bus got stuck in traffic. Since my hands and feet were almost frozen decided to head back inside. Then I went into a co-workrs office to take some picture from his window. A lot of them did not come out because I had my small point and shoot camera and I was shooting thru a window. Busy day today and time got away from me so had to walk around the house and see what I could do for my photo of the day. This is a bit blurry but my Mom collected two kinds of this glassware before she got married. When I got married she asked me what set I wanted and I decided on this set. I have it displayed in the hutch in my dining room. It’s a wonderful reminder of my Mom who died in 1999.

Another small snow storm during the night. Stopped at Starbucks for some chai and coffee after Mass and snapped a few quick pictures before the snow melted. We need a big snow storm and not these little teasers.

The Camry got recalled so we dropped the car off and then ran some errands. We thought it was only going to take a couple of hours for the car but shop was so busy we didn’t get the car back until around 5 so no real time for photo ops and had to resort to flowers on the kitchen island.

When I walked outside to get the paper this morning, I noticed that it started snowing, Figured I better leave for work early before it got really crazy. It’s a good thing I did as there was a big accident on the Hanover Street Bridge shortly after I went over the bridge. Storm was a quick clipper and we only got about an inch of snow. WhenI got home tonight there was only a bit left on the grass but it seemed to sparkle so decided to take a few shots.

Wow where did January go? My day to do the bank run. So after going to the bank decided to see if I could get some good pictures from the walkway across Pratt Street. Blue skies at last. I did not notice until one of my fellow photographers on 365Project said she thought the clouds looked like Mickey Mouse ears. How could I have missed that!

Stopped in South Baltimore again this morning. The sky was just amazing.

Decided to stop at Kinder Park on my way home to see if I could find any good photo ops. Took a few pictures and then oh no – message appears on the camera – change battery pak. Let’s see when did I last charge the battery – I can’t remember – not good. So I headed home. This was the best of the five but not at all what I planned. There was a bit of ice left on the pond but since it’s going to be in the 60’s tomorrow the ice will all be done. Oh well tomorrow is another day

There was a big rally for the Ravens today. Took a bunch of pictures from the office window. The Ravens arrived in five buses around 12:15. this picture shows some of the buses and some of the Ravens walking to the stage. I had to take a bunch of pictures and time it just right so the flames would show up in the picture.
