Today was our first whale watching tour. Aaron arranged for us to go out on a six hour tour with Captain Spencer of Maya’s Legacy Whale Watching. Most tours are only three hours but Aaron made special arrangements to give us more time on the water.
It took a while for us to get used to taking photos on a rocking boat but we got some great shots

We made it to Friday Harbor, After lunch we checked into the Discovery Inn and settled in and got our camera gear together, we headed out to our first photo shoot and captured our first Orcas

We decided to go on an Orca Whale Watching Tour with Aaron Photos. We met up with our tour group (5 other people plus Aaron) this morning and headed to Anacondas to catch the ferry. While we were waiting for the ferry we spotted this blue heron and he was kind enough to pose in front of Mt. Baker

Since we didn’t have to meet our tour group until 7 o’clock tonight, we decided to drive to Mt. Rainer. It was about a two hour drive from Seattle. The park was beautiful – wish we could have spent a lot more time there
