We did a lot of weeding in the front yard and then decided to head to Annapolis for First Sunday. As we were driving thru the Naval Academy I spotted this blue heron. Michael did a quick u-turn and we parked the truck and were surprised to see that it was still there. Michael took a bunch of pictures before he took off

Reynolds Tavern in the oldest tavern in Annapolis and one of the oldest in the United States. The building was restored to reflect the working nature of the tavern and the elegance of the 18th century
Happy July 4th to everyone.
We recently had the house resided and also installed new shutters. This time we decided to go with a dark red instead of dark green and it really goes well with the brick. We decided to get some new house numbers so Michael went to the local hardware store. They only had one 8 and we needed two so he decided to head to the other hardware store in town. They had the 8s but no 1s. So he looked around and found these house numbers. We ended up liking them better.

Another rainy morning. Once the rain stopped I went outside to see if I could get find any flowers that still had some raindrops on them. It was so humid the lens fogged over but it gave the flower a dreamy look

Went for an afternoon walk and decided to head to a different part of the neighborhood today. I stopped to take pictures of these beautiful hydrangeas when a neighbor asked me if I liked lilies. I said sure and he asked me if I wanted to see the variety of lilies in his back yard. He said he had a wide selection of some hybrid lilies. I said sure and wow what a wide variety. Took a bunch of pictures and it was hard to decide which one I liked the best
