Michael asked me to sew a button on his shirt this morning. When I pulled out the sewing kit – I thought wow I have had this sewing kit for years. i think someone gave it to me as a shower present. Wish I could remember who gave it to me as it was a great gift and will last a lifetime
A beautiful spring day and we decided to head to Harpers Ferry. We have not been there in years. It was a beautiful day to be outside. We even met a couple from Putney, Vermont
Ruins of Shenandoah Pulp Mill. The mill provided pulp for the paper industry. The mill closed in 1935 and the building was destroyed by the record flood of 1936.

Love all the flowers alongside the river. We have an app on our phone on our phone called Like that Garden and you take a picture of the flower and the ap tells you the possible names of the flowers. Ap said these are Virginia Bluebells – not sure if they are – maybe some of you avid gardeners know what they are. Whatever they are – they are really pretty
