Decided to put the Christmas tree up today. It’s an artificial tree buts its so big and bushy that it looks almost real. It comes in three pieces and even came with a storage bag

Decided to head to the Narrows to check out the crab basket Christmas trees. :Last year was the first year and there was only one tree. This year there were two trees with over 300 baskets. There were 8 watermen who died this year and they each have a basket with a heart with their name on it.
The crab basket tree benefit’s the local Watermen’s Association. Local businesses and interested people purchase a crab basket from the QA Watermen’s Association and paint a nautical or holiday theme.

The top basket is in memory of one of the watermen who died during 2021. We purchased the crab baskets from his daughter and she was kind enough to join us at our dedication
Check presentation to the Watermen’s Association of Queen Anne’s County. Our community raised $250 and our builder donated $250. This couple were the one who started the Crab Basket Christmas Tree by the Narrows

This year 24 of us go together for a Friendsgiving Dinner at our clubhouse. We had a wonderful time and there was lots and lots of good food. I brought the china and crystal, Kitty brought the napkins and napkin rings and Connie brought the candles and flowers

I have been wanting to do the Bay Bridge Walk for years and finally got the chance. There were over 40 people from our community who joined in the walk. We left our clubhouse at 6:30 so we could be at the starting line one hour before our starting time of 8:15. The total walk to the finish line was over 6 miles and we did it in less than 2 hours. That’s great considering I stopped several times to take pictures. We even had our own tent since there we over 40 people. It took us a while to find our tent but gave us time to check our the activities Then we walked home – which was another 2 miles
