We decided to try and find Cascia Winery on Kent Island. Had to double back a couple of times but thought we were getting close when we spotted the vines – but then we couldn’t find the entrance to the winery. So we finally asked and discovered the winery is closed until the end of April.

I’m a little behind in posting pictures. The weather forecasters were predicting 3 to 5 inches of snow for our area but it was a bust – we only received about an inch of snow – I was very disappointed. We had less than 2 inches of snow all winter.

The osprey’s are back. Not sure where they are going to make their nest this year. There used to be a platform on top of this channel marker but it disappeared over the winter.

We were on Kent Island today and decided to stop at Matapeake Park. Could not decide which photo we liked. We didn’t stay long since the clouds starting rolling in and we started hearing severe thunderstorm warnings. Will have to go back sometime soon and check it out

Another beautiful day with temperatures in the 70’s so we headed to the Chesapeake Environmental Center in Grasonville. We didn’t see much wildlife – just a few birds but it was a great day to be outside.
