On the way back to North Conway, we decided to stop at the Mt. Washington Hotel and have an early dinner. We have driven by the hotel numerous times but never stopped. The hotel opened in 1902

We have driven Route 302 numerous times but never noticed the sign for Thorne’s Pond until today. So glad we did. The foliage around the pond was just beautiful and to top it off there was a trail to the Saco River. What a great find

From Thorne Pond you can walk down to the Saco River. It was just beautiful walking alongside the River. We were stopping every couple of minutes to take pictures

Today we decided to drive part of the Kancamagus Highway. The highway is a 34 mile scene highway that stretches from Lincoln to Conway, New Hampshire. We only drove part of the highway. The views were just beautiful
