My new winter boot. I had a doctor’s appointment scheduled for Tuesday, January 26th and on January 25th the doctor’s office called to stay the doctor was stranded because of the blizzard and could not make it back until at least Saturday so I would have to wait another week for an appointment. Oh no – another week with a cast on! Luckily they called back in the afternoon to say he made it back and could I come in Tuesday morning instead of Tuesday afternoon – Absolutely. It was great to get the cast off – so this is my new winter boot for the next four weeks. The good news is I can take it off at night or if I am sitting for a long period of time.

We went to Quiet Water Park so I could get some exercise on my scooter but when we got there we discovered that the flat part of the trail by the South River overlook was closed so we went to another part of the park where we though the trail was very level. Well it had some hills and there were gum balls from the trees on the trail. Needless to say its hard to maneuver a knee scooter when there are gum balls all over the trail so we didn’t go very far. So we decided to ride around and found a road right alongside the Bay
