I had to drive my husband to the organ surgeon today.  Right outside their office I noticed a ceramic chicken and then I remembered that Annapolis has a  project called Hatching the Arts, and it’s a part of an Anne Arundel Arts Council plan to draw attention to the Capital Central Arts district in the city. The Mona chicken is the one that was outside their office.  After the visit with the surgeon, I drove down West Street to see if we could spot anymore.  That’s when I spotted the fireman and it was right outside a fire station – perfect location.  Love all the details – especially the words Annapolis on the hat

The TV show Tanked installed two aquariums in the new food court at the Annapolis Mall.  The show aired this past week but we missed it.  Will have to see it in re runs.

This aquarium is in the shape of a lighthouse and  features a nautical theme with U.S. Navy memorabilia—including flags, a hand-crafted ship’s mast and Caribbean fish.  There are tables and chairs all around the aquarium so it was hard to get a good shot.  It has a flag pole with some nautical flags on it.

Spotted this beautiful garden while walking around Annapolis.  We had to fit the camera in between the pickets in the fence in order to take some pictures.  We took several pictures and then realized that one of the pickets was missing so there was more room to take pictures
