The Going to the Sun Highway was still closed today but we drove as far as we could and then parked the car and walked about two miles up the road. Go to see some spectacular views. Can you imagine working on this bridge

The Bollman Truss Railroad Bridge is the sole surviving example of a revolutionary design in the history of American Bridge engineering. It’s one of the oldest standing iron railroad bridges in the USA It was built in 1852 and was moved to Savage in 1887.

Rainy and dreary day today. We had some freezing rain right around rush hour this morning and there were 70 accidents in our county alone. I made it to work without any problems – thank goodness. It was still raining when i left work and it was foggy so decided to stop at the park on the way home to see if I could find any good photo ops. If you could look closely you can see the Severn River bridge in the background.
