Thursday afternoon on the Bay

Brrr. 37 degrees with 22 mph winds. Was out running errands and decided to stop at Matapeake. Jumped out of car and took a couple of photos Now I am trying to warm up

On my morning walk one of my friends mentioned Matapeake Beach. I have been to the fishing pier numerous times but I think I have only been to beach once and that was a long time ago. It’s 46 degrees so no ice or snow but I did get a couple of good pictures

Decided to go to Matapeake Pier to see if I could get any pictures of ice since it’s still below freezing the Bay Bridge is off in the distance

Chilly Monday afternoon on the Bay

Thursday afternoon on the bay. Three large ships anchored

View from my back yard
Union station in Washington DC. Waiting for Michael’s brother to drive

Second bay bridge walk. This year was colder and windy. The wind was 16 mph but was behind me So I have two pieces of the medal and three more to go. There were 16,000 runners from 46 states and seven countries. Event generated millions of dollars for surrounding areas and tens of thousands for charity

Discovered a new place today. Queen Anne marina on southern part of Kent island. There were several charter boats at the marina. Love all the different colors of the fishing lures

We saw 11 ships anchored on the bay
