Rainy morning. View from the hotel

Decided to drive to beach. I got out to take a picture and had a hard time walking in the 29 mph wind with the sand swirling around

Went out to eat dinner and was lucky enough to hear Chris Sachs singing

Another beach bungalow
Decided to go on a boat tour around the island I really wanted to take a boat trip to Tangier or smith island but they do not operate on Mondays and Tuesdays and forecast for Wednesday calls for rain and high winds

Captain Doug was great. He grew up on the island and was very informative

Some of the Chincoteague wild ponies on the north side of the island. There are 110 on north part of the island and 40 on the south side. They are descendants of ponies from a Spanish ship that sunk many years ago. We were about 20 feet away.
Love is everywhere! We drove to Kiptopeke State Park. Got out and walked over to the water’s edge and started to take pictures and the camera started acting up and would not auto-focus. Oh no say it’s not so. We tried a few things but no luck. Luckily I had my small Canon point and shoot with me and took a few pictures. When we got back to the Inn we tried charging the battery but that’s didn’t work. Then we sent an email to Nikon but have to wait for them to respond and it could take 24 hours. Hope it’s something small – like we just need a new battery.
