Went for two walks this morning – one with a neighbor and one with my husband. Then we were off to a Ravens football party. The ravens didn’t win and the few pictures I took today did not turn out that great so decided to use this one that I took yesterday at the garden center.

Went for just a short walk tonight. Stopped at the Marina but local high school sailing club was there was so no chance for any good photos. Was almost home when I noticed this lone flower. Really liked the way the light was hitting it. Took several shots and could not decide which one I liked the best

Went out to lunch today with a bunch of co-workers to celebrate someone’s birthday. It was great to get out of the office with friends and catch up. These flowers were outside of the restaurant and of course I had to stop and take some photos,.

We had planned to go to the Renaissance Fair but Mother Nature had other plans. It was really humid today – my glasses kept fogging up every time I went outside. It also rained on and off most of the morning and early afternoon. I went outside to see if I could get some photos of flowers in the yard with raindrops – but rain had all dried up. Walked over to the garden and this butterfly was fluttering all around. It kept flapping its wings like a hummingbird and it was hard to get a good shot. Liked the one with his wings fluttering – and also liked the one where it finally settled for a second.
