It rained last night. The temperatures were cooler today – only 82 degrees but it was still very humid. Decided to go to Terrapin Park which is across the Bay Bridge and right alongside the Chesapeake Bay. The white flowers or bushes were everywhere and they had a great smell. Managed to get a few pictures – but there were lots of people there and it was overcast

Another humid day and how can it be September already. Where did the summer go. Went for a walk after supper and wouldn’t you know it – it started to thunder so decided to cut the walk short. But – it didn’t rain until a lot later that night. Hopefully it will cool things off.

The last day of August – where did the summer go? Had the day off today as the Grand Prix is in Baltimore and a lot of the roads are closed. It was another hot day – 97 degrees – Ran a lot of errands. While Michael was buying bagels I was outside taking photos. This turned out the best. It’s supposed to be cooler on Sunday and Monday so hopefully we can get out and get some good shots.

Met one of the midshipmen that we used to sponsor for dinner tonight He is visiting his brother and his family. Had dinner at Arundel Mills with him and one of his nieces and one of his nephews. It was good to see him again but no time for a walk or photos so decided to use this one that I took in a neighbor’s yard earlier this week

Stopped at the library on my way home to pick up some books. These beautiful flowers were in a planter by the door. I loved the colors so I stopped, put the books on the ground and took out my IPhone When I uploaded the picture I was amazed at the colors, the details and how much I liked it. Gee I could do an ad for the IPhone and Apple products.
