Headed to Deep Creek Lake after work. When we got about 25 miles from the lake it started snowing and sticking to the roads. The last hour was very slow and intense with white out conditions because of the blowing snow. Finally made it to the LakePointe Bed and Breakfast and this picture was taken from the porch. We unpacked and then headed downstairs to sit in front of the fireplace with some wine and a good book.
The temperatures is now minus six degrees and we can hear the wind blowing thru the trees. Hope everyone stays warm and safe
Hope to get a lot of good pictures tomorrow

So headed outside – ended up walking over to Wisp to try and get a better view. I forgot the pond was there and loved the reflections. Could not decide which one of the two photos I like the best – I like this one because of the small dock and it leads you into the picture and gives you the feeling you are walking off a pier into the great unknown. I like the other picture because of the colors. Your thoughts
