I belong to a knitting guild in Annapolis and we knit scarves, baby hats and chemo caps for the local hospital. I have been knitting scarves for a while but this is my first scarf with yarn overs. Pretty happy with how it turned out

Another hot and humid day. Afternoon meeting to discuss plans for the evening
Knitting guild meeting tonight. Lots of scarf kits to choose from. Lots of different colors and patterns. I picked up one kit and one new pattern. Also picked up some yarn to finish two scarves I should have taken a picture of some of the finished scarves. The scarves are all donated to breast cancer patients are local hospital.

We managed to get our morning walk in but it’s been raining on and off all day
Trying my hand at lace knitting. I tried years ago but had a problem with yarn overs. Last Tuesday at our monthly guild meeting one of the members did a presentation on lace knitting and told us if we can knit and purl then we can do lace knitting. She gave us a pattern to start with so here’s my first attempt of if I can manage this then maybe I can try a lace scarf

It’s after 10 and I just realized I never took any photos today. It was as a beautiful day with temperatures in high 70s
