Please don’t pick the daisies.  Most nights I walk by an open field by the marina but don’t pay much attention to the field since it’s used for car and boat parking.  But one side of the open field now has lilies and other flowers in bloom.  So while I was taking pictures of the lilies I noticed some flowers in the back part of the field.  Imagine my surprise when I noticed this big patch of daisies.  I tried taking some photos the other night but they didn’t turn out like i wanted so tried again last night.  These turned out better

Went for an early morning walk before it gets too warm.  Met a neighbor at the boat launching site.  She was kind enough to tell me this was a mimosa tree.  I thought mimosa was a drink – who knew it was also a tree.  I wonder if a mimosa drink is the same color as this.  Will have to google that.

This should do it.  Let’s hope so.  The County came back and dug up the street to see if they could find the cause for the sinkhole.  Everything was dry so they are not sure what happened.  They filled it backup and patched the road.  The foreman told me that sinkholes are popping up everywhere in the county – they think it’s because of all the rain we have had.  In fact, they were taking the steel plate that had been in the road and using it for another sinkhole

Spotted these on my evening walk.  Not sure what they are called.  Thought it was interesting that the flowers on the outside had bloomed but the ones on the inside have not.  Will have to keep an eye on them to see what they look like when they are in full bloom
