Rain washed away a lot of the snow.

Rain washed away a lot of the snow.

Temperature hit 40 and it’s raining so lots of melting The first picture is this morning and second one is late this afternoon

The melting continues

Was able to walk in part of the path today. Only one icy spot. Not sure when we will be able to walk on path around pond or path behind my house. We are supposed to get rain on Saturday so maybe after the rain

Temperatures hit over 40 degrees and the meltdown continues. We can actually see grass in places. Just saw a note that we have 18 days in a row with one inch or more of snow on the ground

The wind finally died down but there is still ice and snow around. But we were able to walk on part of the path today. It’s supposed to be in the 40s for the next couple of days so there should be a lot of melting
Afternoon sky

A very cold windy day. Coldest day this winter. With the wind chill it was below zero for most of the day

My walking buddies got together for a progressive dinner tonight. We had appetizers at one house and then to house two for salad, soup and bread. Then onto house three for dessert. Food was delicious. Had a wonderful time. So lucky to have such a great bunch of friends

More melting today. you can actually see some of the deck

It’s 29 degrees at 5 pm but it’s supposed to get very cold and windy with a bit of snow

Path is still icy and it’s too cold to sit on the bench

Another day above freezing so more melting. The contractors cleared one of the walking paths. The propane contractor finally made it out today to read the meters. It’s been so icy he couldn’t get the meters.

Another day of temperatures over 32 degrees. Morning sky
