Forecast was sunny, blue skies and in the 70’s so decided to take the day off and enjoy a long weekend. Headed to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. The daffodils were along the steps and since I am working on depth of field had to try a few shots

Very windy and much cooler today. Decided to go to Quiet Waters Park. Lots of families there enjoying Mother’s Day and the nice weather.

Blue skies and sunshine today – but still windy. Had to run a bunch of errands in Annapolis today so decided to go to Quiet Waters Park to see if the cherry trees were in bloom. The trees closest to the pavilion are in bloom but the ones in the parking lot are just starting. Michael dropped off our Nikon camera to get cleaned yesterday so going to have to rely on the small Canon for a while so not as much flexibility.

Another busy day at work today so have to use a filler. Took this at Quiet Waters Park. There are daffodils alongside the stairs to the pavilion and they were all in full bloom – what a beautiful sight.

Saturday at long lasts. Beautiful day today – blue skies and it’s 50 degrees out. We headed to Quiet Water’s Park. Michael snapped this picture inside the Pavilion.

Another beautiful day so I took another vacation day. Ran some errands and then went to Quiet Water’s Park. We walked the trail closest to the entrance. We haven’t been that way in a long time and got to see all the damage from the derecho. Took a bunch of pictures and could not decide between these three.

Since it was so warm today – in the high 80’s we just decided to go to Quiet Water’s Park. This is a view of the South River from the park. What a great way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of summer. There was a nice breeze – wish we had brought our books with us

Spotted this on a walk around the park. I have never seen anything like it before. Looks like hair on the tree. I also like the shadows on the side of the tree.
