While we were at the overlook, we noticed about six herons. They were quite a distance away and even though we put the big lens on the camera we were not sure how the pictures would turn out.

Could not believe all the ponds in the refuge area. There were lots of lily pads but no lilies. I liked all the colors and the reflections in the water. We will have to go back another time.

Spotted these guys hanging out at Tuckahoe State Park When we first spotted them there were four of them but one jumped into the water before we could get a shot. Was surprised to see how big they were and how lucky we were to see three of them together

How can it be March already Took this from one of the windows in the office this morning – that’s why the picture has a bit of a strange tint to it. Blue sky and sunshine but it did not last long.
