Beautiful day again today so we headed to Swallow Falls State Park. A lot of other people had the same idea – the parking lot was full. We walked the trail and were surprised at the number of downed trees – result of Hurricane Sandy. There was a note saying that it took over 3000 man hours to clear the trees. Some of the trees were over 300 years old. This is a picture of Muddy Creek Falls. A bit of history – In the summer of 1921, calling themselves the vagabonds, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone camped at Muddy Creek Falls.[

View of the falls from Lookout Point. It was an amazing day. We left Fox Hollow around 9 this morning and got back around 9 tonight. Took lots and lots of pictures and it was hard to narrow them down. You could spend days and days in the park Everywhere you turn, there is another great shot.
