While we were waiting for the moose to move, we took some pictures of the surrounding area
We were on the road back to the Inn, when we saw a bunch of cars stopped so of course we had to stop. We waited for 20 – 30 minutes for this moose to move so we could get a better picture – but no luck
Lots of ranches and most of them have this type of entrance. We saw an ad in the paper for a ranch and it was only ……….. $68 million dollars
After a long wait – success!
On our way back to the Wildflower Inn tonight, we saw a bunch of people and cars alongside the road. Has to be an animal in the woods. So of course we had to stop. The bear watch was on. There were 2 or 3 bears in the woods. The bears like huckleberries and we could see the huckleberry bushes move but could only get a glimpse of the bears from time to time. Two rangers showed up for crowd and traffic control. Here is a picture of a small part of the crowd waiting for the bears to move so we could get a photo.
A bit of color alongside the lake
Another beautiful day in the Tetons. The aspens are just beautiful in the Tetons. When we stopped at the Old Faithful Inn a few days ago, we saw a beautiful picture of some aspens. However, the smallest size – 10 x 14 – was around $500. So we decided to take some photos and see if we could come up with anything close. We really like how this one turned out. We would rather spend the $500 on more camera gear. That’s what a couple of crazy amateur photographers would do
There are elk arches at each corner of the town square in Jackson Hole. The antler were all collected by the boy scouts
